Exercise for every level

Trampoline exercises are easily modified based on fitness levels, and we offer a range of trampoline classes at Jump Rush. Classes may focus on aerobics, strength, or just simple, non-jarring movement, all depending on who the class is developed for.  Some of the more basic movements of trampoline exercise include bouncing in place, jumping jacks, twists, side-to-side motions, running in place, dance movements, and a wide variety of other movements.

We divide the focus of our classes between 3 recognised levels of trampoline exertion levels:

  • “Health bounce” (a gentle rocking motion that anyone in any state of health can do, which was said to stimulate the immune system)
  • “Aerobic bounce” that involves elevating the heart rate (either running in place or dancing)
  • “Strength bounce,” which involves higher bouncing with both feet leaving the mat (developing both abdominal and lower body strength directly as well as strengthening all bodily cells through the accelerative force applied)

Terms and Conditions

All Jump Safe Rules apply to our classes. You will need to complete a risk acknowledgement form and a physical activity readiness form prior to your first class. Please allow time to do this if you are doing this for the first time. You will also need to watch the safety briefing video prior to your class, which will take approximately ten minutes. All classes are for aged 12+ only.

Insane Fit Jump

8pm every Wed and Mon. Get your blood pumping and jumping with this high-intensity session.  Combining HIIT training and cardio endurance sequences to keep your metabolic rate up and your heart pumping, we add interval sculpting periods incorporate toning and strengthening exercises for abs, arms, bums and legs.  With a variety of squats, lunges, bounces and jumps to improve lower body balance and strength, this class will get you jumping, your heart rate up and your energy level high.

Exertion Level:  High (Combination of Aerobic and Strength Bounce styles)
Focus:  Cardio and Conditioning

Fun Fit Jump

8pm every Thurs. Enjoy this lower intensity trampoline fitness class, that focuses on building strength and fitness while having fun with friends.  Your session starts the moment you step onto the trampoline, with your whole body working hard to stay balanced and upright on the low-impact surface.  This class focuses on cardio sprints and interval toning training to give you a full body workout across your legs, thighs, bums, tums and arms.  Unlike workouts that focus strictly on a certain areas, trampoline bouncing gives you a full-body workout.

Exertion Level:  Medium (Combination of Health, Aerobic and Strength Bounce styles)
Focus:  Cardio and Toning

Jumpalates (women only)

8pm every Tues. Trampolining is noted as being particularly efficient at toning and defining your entire abdominal core due to your body flexing and releasing every time it springs off the trampoline.  This lower-impact session is for all those who would like to tone and condition and improve overall strength and balance.  We combine gentle sprints of cardio plyometrics (think Metafit) with pilates-led movements and pelvic floor strengthening to give your body an allover toning workout.  Experience more movement and less strain on the body – and, if you thought you’d never be able to bounce on a trampoline, then this is the class to start with for you!

Focus:  Conditioning, Balance and Toning
